The ITT Enidine Heavy Industry (HI) Series is designed to reliably protect heavy machinery and equipment during material transfer and transportation processes. These heavy-duty shock absorbers are engineered to safely decelerate moving loads under various conditions, while meeting the rigorous safety standards required by the industry.

They are commonly used to ensure controlled stopping of bridge cranes, transport platforms, large container transfers, and during shipping operations. Proven industrial design technologies, combined with the global experience of an extensive installed product base, deliver performance that consistently exceeds customer expectations.

Prior to production, HI Series shock absorbers undergo computer-aided simulations to model real-world conditions, validate product performance, confirm damping characteristics, and meet customer-specific damping requirements by analyzing damping curves under various scenarios.

The compact design allows for smooth and safe deceleration of high-energy loads—up to 500 kNm per cycle—using standard stroke lengths.

These units are engineered to meet OSHA, AISE, CMMA, DIN, and FEM safety specifications. For operation in highly corrosive environments, optional epoxy coatings and piston rods made from specialized materials are available.
